Hey - that's my flight!

So much for my "simmering down" theory...

Blast Injures Three in Plane at Istanbul Airport

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - An explosion inside a plane at Istanbul airport injured three people on Tuesday hours before President Bush was due to fly out of the city from the same location, Turkish police said.

They said the Turkish Airlines plane, on a domestic flight from the western port of Izmir, was being cleaned after landing in Istanbul.
Let's see... Want to make sure I've got this right:

Taking domestic flight in Turkey -- Check
Flying Turkish Air -- Check
Flying Turkish Air from Izmir to Istanbul -- Check
Landing around noon -- Oh, that's a NO! I don't land until 9:50 PM.

Pays to be a late-night kind of guy.

Police said they could not immediately say if the blast was caused by a bomb.

A Turkish Airlines spokesman said three cleaners boarded the plane at 12:30 p.m. (0530 EDT) after passengers had disembarked.

"One of the workers picked up a wallet from the ground and there was an explosion. He lost a finger and the two others were injured but only slightly," the spokesman told Reuters.
So, is it better if it turns out to be a bomb, or if it's something wrong with the aircraft? I'm really not sure.

Woe be those who clean the planes...
